Becky Hope-Palmer, Founder & Artistic Director
Becky founded Thrive Theatre in 2012 with the artistic vision of creating an outlet for playwrights to create new, exciting work in and around Edinburgh.
Becky trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During this time she worked on projects with Shakespeare's Globe, Oran Mor, The Arches and for Action to the Word. She has since worked with Glasgow-based company, Vanishing Point, the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh, the York Mystery Plays and is currently working with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She directed the company's debut Riot Squat in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012 and Buffer in Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014. Allan Ramsay, Associate Producer
Allan joined Thrive at the end of 2014. With a background and passion for visual design and the arts, he brings experience in Arts marketing from his role in the Communications team at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh. He graduated from Glasgow University with a degree in Sociology and has been keen to develop a career within the arts. He believes in creating exciting and engaging work that encourages both avid theatregoers and new audiences to associate with live art.
